Kyushu

I studied Japanese at the University of Pittsburgh for a few months prior to coming to Japan. Several of my classmates came to Japan at around the same time as me. For winter break 2007-2008, I went down to Kagoshima, rented a car, and toured Kyushu with my former classmate Jacob. We started at Kagoshima, drove up to Kumamoto, took a ferry to Nagasaki, stopped at the onsens in Beppu for a day, and returned to Kagoshima.
