In the summer of 2002 I worked in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve in eastern Alaska.

The Alaska Highway.

On August 2nd, 12:25 a.m., at around Mile 153 of the Glenn Highway, I hit a moose and totaled my brother's car. It was a bummer first because it was dangerous, second because it was my brother's car, and third because I was looking forward to driving back down the Alaska Highway to North Dakota later in the month.
