There are various files on this site.  Some are public domain -- those are all noted as such in the COPYING file of their respective directories.  Some other files are released under liberal copying licenses -- look inside zip/gz/bz2 files for copying permission.

If a file isn't specifically labelled as being in the public domain or licensed, it isn't.

If you find a mistake, an image of yours that's copyrighted and somehow ended up on those sites and then here, email me so I can remove it.  My email address happens to be douglaspperkins at the site commonly known as gmail dot com.
